When you want to terminate the rent agreement, Gruno Verhuur will visit your property for the first inspection. During this visit, Gruno will take some photos, which will be used for advertisements. Besides this, Gruno will explain how you have to deliver your property before the final inspection to receive your deposit. The final checklist can be found in the Rental Portal.
If you terminate the rent agreement, you have to restore the property in the original state. This means no nails in the wall and all the holes in walls or ceilings must be filled up. Also, damages of the ceiling, walls, and frames must be restored, and the walls must have the original colour. Besides these points, it is important that you will deliver your property and other shared spaces clean. So, vacuum clean all the spaces before your final inspection, and don’t forget the inside of the fridge and the bathroom. If you did not clean or restore your property in the original state, Gruno Verhuur will charge extra costs for the clean and restore activities.
