If you would like to move or return to your home country, you have to terminate the rent agreement. You can terminate the rental agreement at Gruno Verhuur. Never contact your landlord directly! You have to terminate at least one calendar month and maximum three calendar months in advance.
Be careful: A calendar month means an entire month! So, if you want to terminate the rent agreement on the 2nd of September, this means the agreement will end on the 31st of October. If you terminate the agreement before the 1st of September, the agreement will end on the 30th of September.
At the end of your rent agreement, you will bring back your property in the original state. During the final inspection, Gruno Verhuur will check all the requirements. If you met all the requirements, you will receive your deposit back. At the end of the year, all the service expansions will be checked and it could be possible that you will receive some of the costs back, or you still have to pay your landlord some extra money to cover the costs. If this is the case, you will be informed in June.
