Rent Benefit

At Gruno Verhuur you can rent places which are applicable for rent benefits. Even International students can apply for this benefit. Here are some of the requirements for applying for rent benefits:

• Minimum age of 18;
• You need to rent an independent property;
• You are registered on the right adres;
• Your nationality must be from one of the EU member state;
• Your income, assets and rent are not too high;

We will explain the last condition a little further. From 1 January 2020 there will no longer be any income limits. How high your income may be depends on your rent, your age and the composition of the household. Tip: do the test calculation (in Dutch).

The rent may not exceed € 752.33 per month. Please note: are you younger than 23? Then your rent may not exceed € 442.46 per month.

You may not have too many assets, such as savings. Each resident may have a maximum of € 30,846 on 1 January 2020. Partners may have a maximum of € 61,692 on 1 January 2020 together. Do you have a child living at home with assets under the age of 18? That amount then counts towards your assets.
